We're slackers

I've really slacked off on this blog and I'm sorry. To recap the last few months I will do bullet points. :-)

- We had our anatomical ultrasound on October 2nd and we are having a healthy baby girl. We are very much looking forward to it.
- The baby's growth has been exactly on target or a few days ahead at every appointment.
- Both of us have had dreams that the baby will come early, and several people have predicted a feeling of that for us as well. We want her to bake for as long as necesssary, but are anxiously awaiting her arrival.
- Some pregress has been made on turning our neglected guest room into a nursery, but not much.
- Both of us have had seasonal colds, etc. lately and are finally feeling better.

We're both working a ton these days and we're having our kitchen remodeled as well this week, so things have been chaotic at our house.

I had my NT test yesterday (8-20) and Chuck and I were able to see and hear the baby. It was a very cool experience to see what actually looked like a baby this time. It was dancing around, waving it's arms and kicking, though it wouldn't cooperate and turn over for the tech. It's hard to see on the picture, but we have a great profile view. The head is on the left, the butt on the right, and it's face down. Click on the photo to see larger image (1024x768).



The heartbeat was 153 beats per minute.
